| The Orchid Society of Western Pennsylvania, Inc. is a non-profit corporation organized to advance the propagation, horticulture and preservation of orchid species and hybrids through research, education and scientific endeavors. Meetings: 3rd Sunday of the month Location :Phipps Garden Center Fifth and Shady Aves Pittsburgh, Pa 15232 Time: 2:15pm Mini Class prior to meetings at 1:30pm We have a Cultural Study Group that meets once a month in a member's home to informally discuss how and where we grow our orchids. It is for beginner and more experienced growers. Those who need information and those who can share it! We have just started an Awards Study Group for those members who want to learn the finer points of orchid awards. |
